We currently have an exciting opportunity in our United Arab Emirates office for a Resident Engineer. Directs highly complex and specialized roads construction engineering administration and inspection program. Plans, schedules, and organizes the work of subordinates and staff members.

Skills

1. Preferably 35-40 yrs old.
2. Degree in Civil Engineering, M.Sc. an advantage.
3. Previous Roads and Transportation Authority (RTA) approval is a must.
4. Minimum 15 yrs. of experience in Roads Construction and Supervision projects.

Responsibilities

1. Reports to the Director of Operations for CEI Division.
2. General Day to day contract administration follow- up.
3. General correspondences follow up with the Director of Operations for CEI Division.
4. Answering technical queries with the advice of the Director of Operations for CEI Division and supplying further information on site.
5. Assure compliance to method statements and contractors proposals on site.
6. Daily follow up of issued Site Instructions (SIs).
7. Liaison with third parties to facilitate works on site.
8. Prepare site reports on progress of works and safety.
9. Check contractors submissions for works inspection.
10. Liaise with various government departments and utility companies.
11. Supervise construction works.
12. Preparing meeting minutes.
13. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by his superior.
