Responsible for the day to day execution of the operational functions of Group Treasury.

Assist the Manager in all matters concerning Banking and Treasury operations including periodic reports, co-ordination with financial institutions and finance proposals.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Position for our Our Client in Corporate Treasury
- Prepare daily rolling cash flows and forecast finance requirements on a continuous basis and suggest strategies for attaining optimum utilization of banking facilities and disposable funds.
- Prepare Monthly comprehensive Group Treasury Report by compiling and consolidating the Treasury information of all the subsidiaries and associates of the Group.
- Ensure recording of all Treasury transactions for our Client for corporate in Oracle Financials.
- Prepare Bank transfers / Payments and receipts on a daily basis
- Monitoring of interest payment dates, renewal of facilities, maturity of long and short term loans of our Client and its group companies
- Prepare periodic statements of the interest rate exposure for our Client and its group companies and assist Controller in formulating the Risk management strategies.
- Submission of Financial and other information to Banks and financial Institutions.


Treasury Activities of Subsidiaries

Assist the Manager in developing customised financing proposals for working capital requirements of Subsidiary companies.
Continuously monitoring the liquidity position of EST and highlight the projected funds positions on a regular basis.
Support Trade financing activities of EST and EISL- opening of L/Cs, forwarding the trade documents to Banks and ensuring timely remittances to suppliers.


Other Treasury matters

- Monthly Review of overdraft interest
- Updating of authorized signatories with bank records
- Providing updated statutory records like trade license and chamber certificates upon facility renewals which is mandatory
- Continuously familiarises with changes in Trade finance guidelines UCP500 for documentary credits.
- Furnish FX rates / LIBOR / EBOR to subsidiaries on need basis.
- Prepare a list of monthly FX rates of all currencies for Oracle Financials uploading on the first of every month.

4 Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Education, Qualifications & Experience: A university degree with accounting qualifications with minimum of 4 years of work experience, or a professional qualification in Accounting with a minimum of 1 year of work experience, preferably in Treasury function of a Bank / Large organisation
Computer skills: Proficient in MS.Office package. Knowledge of any accounting software will be an advantage.
Language and writing skills: Good Communication and report writing skill.
Other skills: Analytical and Presentation Skills. Team player. A systematic style of working is preferable. Should be an outgoing personality with PR skills to deal and interact with operations people in financial organisations.
