He must then have the ability to efficiently distribute the work orders to others in a timely fashion. Responsibilities : We are looking for Driller for a company in Dubai. The driller is responsible for the operation of the rig and is the team leader of the crew in charge of the drilling process regarding the efficiency of the offshore oil platform. The monitoring of the rigs activity is of prime importance. All activities are on a time scale schedule and must be ready or consequences will occur. When difficulties arise it is his responsibility to report the incident back to those in higher command. Description : Their Job Duties will include:- 1. Monitor the rig activity while automatic driller operates the breaks and drills the hole. 2. Responsibility for interpreting signals of the drilling well regarding gas and fluids under high pressure. 3. Responsibility for managing correct counter measures during emergency situations. 4. Responsible for managing when uncontrollable and unforeseen emergencies arise. 5. Monitor gas levels coming from drilling hole. 6. Monitor how much drilling mud is coming to the surface during drilling. 7. When tripping, the driller is responsible for running the floor and working the rig.
