Responsible for projects original contract drawings in coordination with PM, PCM, Project Coordinators.
- Checks all types of drawings received from subcontractors and suppliers for accuracy and conformity with design drawings.
- In coordination with PM, PCM, and site planning engineer, establishes, reviews, and implements the schedule of drawings issuance prepared by the Planner in a timely manner and in accordance with the schedule of submittals ensuring that no delay is affecting the work schedule.
- Follows up on the built drawings issues of the program as per the submission schedule prepared and approve by the PQM.
- Draws scale plans and detailed sketches for projects in coordination with the Architect/Coordinators. Clarifies drawings issues with PM, CM, coordinators, site subcontractors. Revises and updates drawing following recommendations and requirement from Supervisor.
- Sets the plot limits on AutoCAD according to Municipality instructions and approval by the client/consultant (including all grid lines in coordination with surveyors). This setting shall be used to establish all subsequent drawings/sketches/details up to the end of the project, including as built drawings.
- Establishes a system, under the supervision of the site PQM, for recording the status of all drawings in order to comply with the Document Control system.
- Visits the site and coordinates with PM/CM/PE/SE and surveyors regarding the site conditions and updates drawing/sketch/detail accordingly.
- Establishes drawings new proposals in coordination with Coordinators/CM approval.
- Ability to generate quantity take off and compare to Engineer /Consultant bill of quantities and highlight to supervisor the differences
