Progressive Engineering Consultants is an Architectural and Engineering Consultancy company based in the UAE with a tie-up with a leading US company, and lead by a highly experienced team. We are looking to expand our operations in Dubai, and are looking for a highly qualified MEP engineer to join our staff.
The ideal candidate shall have 5 - 7 years of MEP design and drawings experience on a wide variety of projects within the UAE. He/she will be expected to be a self starter and be able to bear the responsibility of the entire MEP design process, starting from inputs in the initial proposal, all the way to detailed design, drawings and calculations. Our company prides itself on offering our clients economical designs and services that surpass our competition. As part of this, our MEP engineer shall be expected to work on challenging designs and drawings deliver them within tight deadlines.
We expect candidates to have the following skills:
1. High level of speed and expertise in AutoCAD.
2. Expert ability in industry standard MEP software.
3. Strong communication skills in order to communicate with other architects and engineers to efficiently resolve design issues.
4. High level of familiarity with Dubai Municipality rules and regulations, and the ability to go to the Dubai Municipality for discussions and clarification of MEP points.
5. A strong practical working knowledge of MEP to enable solving of problems that may arise at site during construction.
