Job Description

1. Completes lease form or agreement and collects rental deposit.
2. Responsible for insuring the model apartments and target apartments are ready for show;
3. Responsible for maintaining work areas and office in clean and orderly manner; need to have an awareness of the curb appeal of the property.
4. Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications and all community policies.
5. Knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques.
6. Knowledgeable of current market conditions.
7. Fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations and all amenities of property.
8. Maintain contact with all apartment locator services and local businesses to provide informational material.
9. Responsible for shopping competitive properties.
10. Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes and policies regarding rentals.
11. Responsible to conduct out-reach marketing at least once per week.
12. Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program under direction of Community Manager.
13. Responsible to play an active role in the renewal process.
14. Responsible for proper maintenance of all resident and property files.2
15. Responsible for maintaining and updating Leasing and Property Information Handbook and Advertising Log Book.
16. Efficient and timely processing of all required administrative forms, reports and related information.
17. Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
18. Courteous, efficient handling of resident requests and complaints.
19. Responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
20. Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development.
21. Responsible for assisting Assistant Manager in collection of delinquent rents.
