Outbound Sales Representative

TeleTech is hiring for Outbound Sales Representatives to join our high achieving team representing a major media company.

General Summary:

Under limited supervision, Outbound Sales Representatives will call provided new leads, with an objective to increase overall sales revenue for our client, a large media company.
These activities include the following in relation to publications and on-line products: Outbound sales of product subscription; classified advertisements and features e.g. automotive and real estate; personal advertisements and notices and telephony account management activities.
Customer base can include but is not limited to SMB (Small to Medium Business) and Consumers. Outbound sales personnel will document all contacts with existing customers and new leads.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Will use the provided database to call new leads along with existing customers for the purpose of developing a buying relationship. All Outbound Sales Representatives will be evaluated on their ability to meet sales quotas and revenue targets, prospecting and developing accounts/campaigns and growing strategic relationships. Outbound Sales Representatives will be tasked with increasing revenue within their assigned role.
All contacts with existing and potential clients must be documented for the purpose of profiling customers and evaluating the database. Data entry into client systems will also be necessary to compile quotes, for the client to fulfill orders/sales, and into the related reporting tools.
Process sales request that meet the requirements set by our client.
Job performance will be measured through a variety of related sales metrics. The quality and method of work must be completed in accordance with the companys core values.

Job Specifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
12 months + proven sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment;
Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal;
Excellent computer skills;
Self starter with an ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment;
Superior listening and customer service skills;
Basic understanding of advertising and media sales preferred.
