Job Description

A five Star Casino Hotel and Resort located in Manila, Philippines, requires Director of Culinary
POSITION: DIRECTOR OF CULINARY
AGE: not more than 60
NATIONALITY: ANY, PREFEBALY FILIPINO
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree or related Culinary degree
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 8 or more years of industry and culinary management experience in a 5 star hotel (or equivalent). Prior experience in a casino property or China property a plus
- Previous experience with control food and labor cost, demonstration cooking, menu development, and pricing and development of culinary team.
- Knowledge of working practices and principles in a 5-star hospitality setting.
Proven track record in hotels/resorts of similar standards and in a similar capacity, preferably in the Asia Pacific Region.
- 3-5 years senior management Asia experience gained within international luxury hotel groups.
- Hotel pre-opening & development experience.
- Excellent command communication skills in both written and verbal communication. (Local language a plus).
- Strong leadership, organizational and administrative skills.
- Dynamic, inspiring, innovative and enthusiastic.
- Strong interpersonal skills, very approachable, outgoing with easy manner in dealing with guests and associates.
- Must be able to handle difficult situations with tact and high diplomacy.
- In possession of strong partnering skills, clear vision, strategic planner and problem solver.
- Hard working, able to withstand a very fast paced working environment, enroll and complete projects on his/her won.
- Strong sense of commitment and of unquestionable integrity.
- Good understanding of business and finance
