Position Description:
We are seeking a motivated individual that has minimum of 4 years’ experience with the design and approval of civil engineering works associated with subdivision and municipal projects.
Position Duties:
Responsible for the design and approval of civil engineering works (grading, stormwater management, underground utilities and surface improvements) associated with subdivision and municipal projects according to Municipal standards.
Review and investigate preliminary engineering options during the development planning process.
Coordinate sub-consultants for planning, legal survey, geotechnical and consultant services.
Preparation of cost estimates, tender contract documents and engineering reports.
Provide leadership and mentoring for junior engineering and technical staff
Utilize Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil 3D for the creation and review of engineering designs.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering program.
A minimum of 4 years’ experience with the design and approval of civil engineering works
