Market Analysis: ? Develop for both new and existing products, a market analysis, which involves a thorough understanding of the market place in which the product competes and any influencing factors that may have an effect on the market and the product. Identify and evaluate market opportunities and challenges and develop solution oriented strategies or programs. ? Identify the impact of the industry shifts and trends and appropriately respond from a marketing perspective. ? Adapt marketing frameworks to interpret the internal and external environment of the product. ? Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by visits to customers. ? Analyze the IMS data for the trends, market share, growth etc. and discuss with the Sales function your action plans if any to further improve the performance in the market place Brand Management : ? Prepare annual marketing plan with specific goals and tactics. ? Drive the marketing activity across all functions to ensure that the results are achieved. ? Plan and prepare a long-term strategic plan for products, monitor progress and modify as appropriate. Develop Sales forecasts and ensure marketing intelligence/tracking systems are in place to monitor sales performance. ? Review the marketing programs and identify new programs when necessary to meet the goals and revenue objectives. ? Lead the development and implementation of the operational plan for the strategic products with the help of the Medical and Sales functions and incorporate them along with the Marketing plan. ? Develop and review sales promotional materials and marketing programs and ensure that they support the annual marketing plans and strategies. ? Develop and effectively communicate core global branding, marketing messages and product positioning statements across all functions. ? Develop communication materials regardless of media and the related media planning that are used to help communicate the product position to various target groups both internal and external. ? Effective management of product P&L and ensure maximum ROI for each and every marketing activity.
