Our Client, Northstar Travel & Tours is a full service travel agency, opened in the last year. The agency caters to all types of clients, but our main focus is on the corporate sector and business travel. The agency is financially backed by a successful Dubai based real estate firm. The agency has already established itself with several major suppliers in the area, and has acquired some targeted corporate accounts. The vision of the owners is to take the business to the next level, providing the best products and customer service to a large corporate account base of clients.
The positions main focus will be to go after profitable and worthwhile corporate travel accounts, and handle all aspects of sales and marketing for the agency. The position will not be required to manage employees, but instead focus on growing sales, coming up with and carrying out marketing plans and tactics. This will call for lots of cold calling, as well as utilizing your existing contacts within the industry to secure corporate travel accounts. You will be required to come up with a sales plan of action based on the goals set by owners, as well as a feasable marketing plan. You will also be responsible for carrying out said sales and marketing plans. The agency is looking for candidates with experience and familiarity with the Dubai market, within the travel industry.
