We are currently looking for a Truck Drivers in British Columbia, Canada. Work permit and LMIA will be taken care for qualified candidates.

Drive straight and articulated trucks and goods to various destinations across Canada and the United States of America as single or team driver

Trip planning using GPS and other navigational aids

Conduct pre-trip and en-route inspection

Receive and relay information to dispatcher

Bill of lading, Trans-border documentation

Loading and unloading of loads

Write logbooks and reports

Ensure safety of goods

Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes

Perform other related duties

Operate and drive primarily tractor-trailer, long-combination vehicle and straight body trucks weighing over 4500 kg to transport goods and materials over long distances

Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements

Follow correct safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods

Communicate with dispatcher and other drivers using two-way radios, cellular phones and on-board computer

Perform emergency roadside repairs if necessary

Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment such as tires and brakes and vehicle systems

Responsible for daily completion of all required paper work such as freight bills, load sheets, log books, etc.

Administer bills of lading and manually and electronically maintain log books
