Background:

The system is expected to rationalize the Agency's efforts in processing applications, selecting beneficiaries, and to offer one interface for the people to apply for social safety assistance.
In this respect, an Application Systems-Analyst/Programmer is sought in order to design an IT solution. The Application Systems - Analyst / Programmer will work under the supervision of the Emergency Appeal Coordinator and in collaboration with the database working group.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

1) Liaise extensively with internal clients (database working group including staff from relevant implementing departments and programs) to get a strong understanding of the Agency's requirements, of the existing business models and of the data flows;
