Conducting preliminary survey in the proposed locations, picking up all existing site details such as ground levels, cross section survey, trees, pipelines, cable route & buildings.

2. Downloading the data to the computer using survey software.

3. Making setting out works, establishing the alignment & levels for different layers as per the design drawings.

4. Marking the proposed locations of future ducts, duct marks, sewerage, storm water, drainage networks etc.,

5. Performs the overall duty of writing reports, supervise staff members, provide price quotes, create map & schedules various tasks, to perform and oversee the field teams.

6. Review the existing maps and plans and assemble new maps for the site.

7. Determines methods and procedures for establishing or reestablishing survey control.
