Job Description:
- Takes charge the entire databases (Oracle V9.X/V10gX and
MySQL V3.X/V4.X/V5.X) of all products for a mobile telecoms
Globe, Smart, Sun and international Telecoms Company.
- Critical data and available resources, establishing
backup frequency and documenting.
- backup and recovery procedures.
- Handled the online integration of Send a Load SMS,
TextBak SMS, P2P SMS, Gunbound and Mobius SMS,
Share a Load SMS, Max a Load SMS, GUDLAK Boljak
win of Fortune SMS, ISP Bonanza SMS, PSE info Alert SMS,
Embassy SMS and WAP , SAKLOAN, SUBASTAHAN Bidding, SEND Money,
SAKLOAD, Teletindahan, SEND Money, Manila Jockey Club Betting
and Tipster environment through defined configuration
management standards.
- Optimizes system performance by monitoring current performance,
analyzing possible problems/solutions and performing indicated
modifications.
- Scripting using korn shell and born shell in preparation with
automatics incremental backups (dump files, export files,
synchronizations), automatic uploading of raw data, automatics
error messages emailing to top level management, purging all
raw data logs, automatic monitoring for system global area,
cpu usage, memory usage, uptime average, iostat, vmstat,
synchronization of mysql master and slave, synchronization
of oracle production to mirror server, database (mysql and
oracle) utilizations.
