Job Description

The PR & Communications Manager will be responsible for developing an initial communication strategy and executing this strategy in conjunction with the marketing team. The role will include close liaison with the Sales and Marketing Director to insure close co-ordination of marketing, communication, Public Relations and sales promotions/campaigns.

As a member of the Marketing team, you will also ensure that Big Shot sponsors and media partners are provided with professional and effective service levels. To ensure sponsor and media partner satisfaction, to facilitate beneficial business relationships.

The PR and Communications Manager will also be responsible for all PR and Communications for Big Shot on a National level. The following are key aspects to this Big Shot role to help build credibility and increase general awareness of the brand:
- Writing Press Releases for both online and offline media
- Updating and maintaining relevant Social Media news and updates for both Facebook and Twitter
- Submitting Press Releases to medai and following up for maximum exposure
- Participant numbers for events are maximised, whilst delivering maximum value for participants,
- Developeing Sponsorship deals
- Media partners and associated event partners are developed
- Publicizing winner stories
- Outlining potential charitable donations and
- Building ever stronger relationships with the media including a media database of regular contacts
