Description:
We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator with skills in managing and maintaining
Linux Servers and Windows Servers. The candidate would be responsible for maintaining optimal
performance for our hosted servers as well as in-house infrastructure. The candidate would have to
work with our development teams and support them for deployment of virtual servers on Windows
Platform. Regular visits to clients who have support contracts for our applications and systems
would be needed to assess any reported issues and provide support for modifications or upgrades.
Activities will include:
Implementation and maintenance of approved IT policies
Support for development team to systems setup and onboarding
Maintenance of IT infrastructure and devices like Printers, Access Points, Mobile devices,
etc.
Management of backup systems
Implementation support for solutions deployment to client locations
Performance Assessment and maintenance of Linux and Windows Servers
Follow up with customer regarding outstanding issues
Experience:
Minimum BSCS/BSIS degree
2-3 years of experience in systems administration with Linux and Windows OS.
Good knowledge of email systems, networking and enterprise backup
Experience in working with Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac systems
Certification as a System Administrator or equivalent industry experience
Technical Skills:
Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Management
Management of Windows Active Directory, Creating and Managing Parent and Child
Domains. Configuring NTFS Permissions, Disk Quotas, Disk Management, Creating and
Configuring VPN for Remote access
Linux Server Management
Experience with Networking infrastructure
Installation, Configuration, Maintenance, Upgrade & Updates and Administration of Servers,
desktops, network services, OS, Workstations, Printers & Peripherals on multiple platforms.
Configuring routers and switches for implementing WAN connection

IP Routing: Good Knowledge in RIP, IGRP, VLAN, NAT , VPN .
Security : Installation and configuration of firewalls Dlink and Sonicwall devices
