For this position, we charge service charges.
1 Year guaranteed contract (min 40 hours). Full time work
1 - 3 weeks free accommodation on arrival, driver assessed, inducted, buddied up and PAID
Weekly pay with holiday pay min £380 per week (anything from £8.00 to £10.75 P/H)
Primary locations Northamptonshire, Yorkshire and Midlands with dedicated

All the documents and forms for setting up bank account, UK Sim card, exchange of licence to UK licence. Immediate starts offers made within 1 week
Protective clothing supplied no charge
Ongoing training supplied
National Driver Training Team, conducting driving assessments, training and infringement counselling, fuel efficiency and accident management training
Driving simulator, produced by the manufacturers of the Boeing 747 for safe and cost effective driver training
Driver Training Units for on the road training and assessment purposes
DCPC Training
Working Time Directive (WTD) and driver hours monitoring, including infringement counselling
24 on-call cover as standard
What we need from you:
HGV 1 Licence at least 2 years, driven a HGV in the last 6 months, 6 months experience in the UK or Right hand side driving, no more than 6 points and 25 years of age
Prep ared to be flexible with location, relocation to UK at your own expense
On successful training/assessment you will be required to change licence to UK and Digital tachograph
Flexible with travel up to 35 miles- so may need a car
Driver certificate professional competence by Sep 2014
Knowledgeable on UK Driving regulations, working time regulations & Highway code
Travel arrangements from your arrival (airport) to Rochdale house
What does the driving job invo lve:
Varied from store deliveries to NDC Deliveries, RDC Trunking from 1 depot to another
New vehicles to old, automatic or manual gearboxes and 18tonne Rigid &
Artics, refrigerated vehicles, double decked and wagon and drag
Coupling and uncoupling vehicles
Delivering anything from white goods to Milk
Short wheeled, long wheeled based and rear steer vehicles
Anything from 1 run a day to 5 runs
Handball maybe requi red, pulling cages and operating tail lifts
