Establishes and maintains harmonious business relationship with clients.
Submits regular progress reports to keep the clients well-informed.
Develops business contacts and generate new business projects for the company.
Promote client relations at the site, and identify opportunities for up sell of services.
Be involved in, review and approve MEP and MEP infrastructure designs. Overseeing plan, design/engineering /coordination and implementation/production of respective projects from concept design to handover.
Design and/or survey of building MEP projects and installations, either new-build or refurbishment.
Proactively ensure that all design Consultants are managed with best practices in value engineering and risk management.
Should have excellent working knowledge of MEP systems such as Electrical Power & Lighting with distribution of MV & LV, ELV, HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, GAS, Fire Protection and Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm systems with in-depth proficiency and hands-on experience in either HVAC design or Electrical design as relates to commercial and industrial building services.
To carry out the design and drawings review and provide leadership and guidance ensuring their optimization and full compliance with the contract requirements including local regulations / practices /laws.
Review specifications and provide technical clearance to subordinates such as Electrical and Mechanical designers and CAD operators, etc. Monitor and manage CAD operators output quality and timely delivery.
Produce sufficient data for Variation Orders and timely communicate to client in coordination with Senior Management/Contract/Estimation and Design teams.
Correspond and writing of clear, concise and pointed reports for Clients encompassing the stage task for which report required (being written). These could be for explaining concept, reporting on Schematics or Final Developed Design or could be a simple narrative to compare two alternative systems.
