At Sun Kissed Flowers we sell African grown flowers all over the world, using the cloud based Flower Box Direct software. In the recent years Sun Kissed Flowers founded the Flower Box Project, which is an industry specific modifications on the Object Oriented PHP platform Genkgo. The system holds functions in the field of Online Sales, Administration, CRM, Mass Mailing, CMS, Inventory management, Supply Chain Management and in particular functions associated with East African Flower Production.
Job description:
You will be in charge of implementing new innovations to the Flower Box Direct software. At the same time you will join our multi-disciplinary team in daily activities in the field of Sales, Marketing, Logistics and Finance.
You will be working on enhancing the shopping experience of our B2B customers, the Wholesale Florists around the world as well as innovating intragroup processes.
Job requirements:
We are looking for someone who likes being part of a goal-oriented team and has the capabilities to solve complex problems. The selected candidate needs to have a solid foundation in computer science in order to develop a deep understanding of the current system as well as willingness to continuously suggest improvements to the system.
Requirements:
- A team player
- Natural feeling for mathematical science, formulas and algorithms
- Excellent English business communication skills
- Experience in object oriented programming using PHP (5.x), MySQL, XML
- Experience with cloud oriented CMS, CRM, ERP systems
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with developing mobile Apps
- Knowledge of Subversion (SVN), jQuery and CronJob services
