Job Description


Completely Responsible for Installation, Configuring & troubleshooting of network & Hardware issues in Data Center.
Configure routers (Route configurations, ACLs, Core system configurations).
Provide L2 Network support to Help Desk/ NOC/Systems/Storage/Database/Security teams for any kind of changes / new features to be deployed in Network setup/configuration.
Configure switches (switch port configurations, VLAN configuration, ACLs.


Analyze network environment (logs, packet traces, and bandwidth) to understand communication patterns and identify source/destination/protocol/port information.
Installation, configuration and securing Fortigate Firewall and IDS/IPS and Antivirus.
Manage Authentication, Incoming and Outgoing traffic by Firewall (Fortinet).
Handle request tickets and incident tickets on the activity scope.
Managing change Service Request and Incidents through Tivoli Tools (SCCD).
Assisting with development, implementation, configuration and maintenance of Network (Routers & switches), Security solutions including firewalls, Anti-virus solutions, and IPS/IDS.
Handling Escalated Calls & provide resolution Related to Network and Security.
Co-ordinate and working with Level2/3 support teams and vendors such as Cisco, IBM and HP.
Ensuring 24x7x365 operation of internal and client systems, Support client Network connections and devices. And Work as per SLA with the Customer.
Check bandwidth consumption on WAN/MAN links and Provide Bandwidth statistics or Network equipments key indicators. And provide information (logs, Port configuration).
Taking Backup of All Networks Device Configuration and Logs.
Creating Daily/ Weekly/Monthly Memory, CPU, Bandwidth Utilization and Device availability report by IBM Tivoli Monitoring Tool (ITNM).
