1. Busy craft shop is seeking a part time sewing machine sales supervisor.
2. Retail experience not necessary, but the ideal candidate should have a good knowledge of machine sewing and some experience as a hobby sewist.
3. We aim to offer high-level customer care, and the job will involve not only selling sewing machines, overlockers and embroidery machines to fellow hobbyists, but demonstrating machines for customers as well as basic training for new machine owners.
4. Other responsibilities will include sewing machine service intake, machine rental services for our classes, and regular retail shop duties for the entire shop.
5. Applicants must have excellent spoken & written English, and facility in other languages is a plus. Good computer skills are essential.
6. Must be comfortable using Excel, and must be eager to learn to use embroidery software.
7. Part time hours to total approximately 30-35 hours per week on average, and will include some evenings and weekends.
