Tanzanian electrical contractor, CSI Electrical Limited, has a vacancy, based in Dar es Salaam, for a an experienced MEP BIM modeler to join an expanding team to work on its exciting projects. This fantastic role involves working as the principal member of a dedicated BIM team creating Models and drawings of high profile projects. The role will also involve providing BIM training to a junior team of Tanzanian CAD technicians. The candidate will be one of the first BIM modelers to work in Tanzania and will work on high profile projects including airports, mosques and luxury hotels. The ideal candidate should have a background from MEP services and be flexible, dynamic and have a creative eye. Production of drawings will be done using Autocad and Revit and also familiarity with Navisworks will be useful. The salary package for this role will be commensurate on experience but in the region $30-40,000 per annum nett of all taxes. Local living expenses will be provided by the employer as will shared accommodation, shared vehicle, medical (repatriation) insurance.
The contract is at this stage anticipated to run for a minimum of two years and return flights to home country will be provided every 6 months. Leave will be 28 days per annum split into two 14 day periods.
