Glander International Bunkering is seeking an experienced Chef for their staff canteen

Job Role: Glander International Bunkering has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Chef to join our company as Staff Canteen Chef. Our Staff Canteen Chef will be responsible for delivering a high standard of service and food to our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, cook and serve nutritionally balanced meals working to nutritional standards in our staff canteen (2 meals per day + snacks)
• Performs administrative duties, including ordering supplies, such as shopping and menu planning
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
• Keep kitchen in an immaculate state, inventory disinfected and polished. General cleaning of equipment, floors, crockery and cutlery working to a detailed schedule
• Replenish stock in fridges
• Help with F&B requirements for meetings, events etc

Requirements:

1. A minimum of five years experience working within a catering environment
2. Experience with European cuisine
3. Applicants should be committed to the highest standards of cuisine, presentation and food preparation
4. Experience in international cuisine
5. Basic Food Hygiene and safety/HACCP
6. You are a very positive, dynamic, creative and dedicated team player with the ability to work in a multicultural environment
