Branch Finance Manager
* Responsibilities to support the management team in a variety of operational decisions. As such, the finance manager should manage funds in such a manner as to maximize return on investment while minimizing risk, and while also ensuring that an adequate control structure is in place over the transfer and investment of funds. Further, the finance manager engages in financial analysis in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost reduction analysis, and reviewing operational performance. The position is considered to be more senior than the financial analyst position.
* Looking for evidence of good oral and written communication skills, self-motivation, commercial awareness, initiative and the ability to work as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, technical, IT andnumerical abilities are crucial.
- Graduate or Post-Graduate in Commerce
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a company or division of a large corporation in the gcc.
- Preference will be given to candidates with professional certification like ACCA / ACWA / CA etc.
- Should have an outstanding knowledge of electronic spreadsheets.
- Valid U.A.E drivers license will be an added advantage.
* ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –
* Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role e.g. AR, AP, GL etc.
* Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations.
* Management reporting for submission to HO in Abu Dhabi.
* Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries.
* Perform cash flow forecasting.
* Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.
* Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives.•’ Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.• Wide exposure to funds planning, LC’s, TR, Bank guarantees, credit facilities and proposals.• Liaise with external auditors, bankers, other financial institutions, insurance companies, etc.• 8-10 years of experience in the field preferably in UAE or GCC.
