In this role, candidate will have the opportunity to quote and price out new projects, giving candidate the experience to develop his/her construction cost estimating techniques.
The candidate will also participate in the creation of proposals and prepare tender documents while providing assistance to other team members.
Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze drawings and specifications
Understand contractual terms and conditions
Assemble estimate and proposals
Draft budgets and schedules for projects
Meet with potential clients to generate sales
Qualifications
Experience and familiarity with the construction industry an asset
Understand and interpret drawing and specifications
Graduate from a recognized engineering, architectural or construction management program an asset
Exceptional communication skills
Work Environment
Ability to work in an office and in the field
Fast paced environment with variable working hours
Salary commensurate with candidate?s qualifications.
