Maintain a high standard of medical care and clinical credibility, utilizing current clinical research.
Undertake counseling and support to employees and families where required and refer as appropriate.
Provide advice on health-related topics for patients and their families including counseling on lifestyle, diet, exercise routines and general wellbeing.
Advise on specific health issues including fitness to work and rehabilitation.
Demonstrate cultural awareness within the work place.
Assist the Chief Medical Officer in developing the policies and procedures appropriate to the needs of the department.
Monitor the performance and work of the nursing team identifying areas for improvement.
Assisting in the implementation of departmental management programs and participate in audit and quality programs as required.
Participate in organizational meetings and activities as required.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Ensure that the Safety, Quality & Environment requirements of the yard are strictly followed.
To carry out any duties that may be required to ensure the efficient running of the medical service.
Skills
Doctor of Medicine OR MBBS
Experience / qualification as a family physician (Min 5 years).
