Compliance Coordinator – Office of Institutional Effectiveness The American University in Dubai invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Compliance Coordinator. The objective of the Compliance Coordinator is to support the Director and Associate Director of Institutional Effectiveness in all related business and operational functions of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. Furthermore, the Compliance Coordinator is responsible for the management and maintenance of university policies and procedures and ensuring the continuous compliance of the University with accrediting bodies. Principle Responsibilities: General Responsibilities General office management including knowledge about the office equipment and mail services (including ordering supplies and maintaining a professional and presentable office environment). Handle confidential documents and information (reports and mail) Assist with all record keeping and reports as needed. Provide administrative support to the Director and Associate Director of Institutional Effectiveness in the various functions and activities carried out by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. Maintain a filing system for the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. Assist with planning and arrangements for conferences, seminars and other similar events hosted by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness. Submit PRs and follow up with the Office of Finance. Maintains a log with the names of all students who have completed the completion survey. Follow up on research ethics applications. Assist in the preparation of the AUD Factbook and fact sheet. Policies and Procedures Follow up on university policies and procedures through coordinating, maintaining and updating the policies’ log. Organize the university policies and procedures as per the requirements of the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA). Annually prepare the Policies, Procedures and Regulations Manual (PPRM) in coordination with the Director of Institutional Effectiveness. Accreditation and Compliance Update the accreditation calendar to ensure that AUD remains compliant with accrediting bodies and meets its quality assurance requirements. Assist when and whenever required with the preparation of any accreditation or inspection visit, including the visits of the UAE Ministry of Education, CAA, SACSCOC, or any other accrediting body. Follow up on Substantive Change (SC) applications and update the SC log. Assist with the preparation, review and submission of accreditation reports and requirements. Other related tasks or projects as assigned by the Director of Institutional Effectiveness.
