· Communicate with Driver Supervisor before start of duty/shift and obtain schedule and other information. · Regularly check, particularly at the start of duty, vehicle’s fluids and top up where required. Examine other parts of the engine and check for any leakages. Examine interior and clean. Immediately report to Driver Supervisor for any faults/concerns found and have them fixed without delay. Do not operate the vehicle if it is unsafe to do so before fixing the problem. · Responsible to keep the assigned vehicle(s) sparkling clean and well-maintained inside out all the time. Have enough fuel in the tank to cover the shift duties. Fill up tank at the end of the duty if it is half empty. · Perform duty according to priorities, schedule and instructions. Duties will include driving clients, their families, friends, guests, visitors, and running other errands to pick up and deliver goods and articles. Always use safe and short route to reach desired destination. · To provide refreshment to the client while in the vehicle, such as water, cold towel and mint candies. · To assure that tissue boxes (with covers) are always in the vehicle. · To offer a choice of music to the client while in the vehicle. · While driving passengers, ensure their comfort and convenience and demonstrate courtesy, open the door before them, close the door slowly and securely making sure it is safe to do so. If passengers include children, make sure that they are securely seated and promptly hook-up child safety seats and/ or child locks before driving. · Always drive safely and follow traffic rules and safety regulations and be personally responsible for any traffic fines imposed for whatever violations. · Independent judgment must be exercised in handling unusual situations arising with passengers, traffic, and in accidents. Ensure safety of passengers and self. Immediately report any incident or accident appropriately. · Comply with Health and Safety procedures and precautions to avoid damage to human and assets. Carry out any other tasks as advised by the Line Management.
