Communicates the construction requirements to all site team ensuring effective awareness, compliance and conformance with the safety plan, quality plan and Client requirements Ensures that all personnel on site are instructed and motivated with respect to health, safety and environmental requirements and comply with the site regulations and permit to work procedures Ensures all construction contractors’ supervision and labour, adhere strictly to the project drawings, specifications, standards and procedures Participates in employee recruitment - conducting interviews and selecting Management and guidance of supervision to ensure site productivity and efficiency result in meeting contract targets Ensures that the completion, acceptance and handover procedures are progressively implemented Seeks guidance from the Operation Manager and Project Management as appropriate before making critical and important decisions Monitors and reports on project progress Provides analysis and input to the project to develop the primary construction schedule. Maintains current knowledge of the construction plans to include any changes Clearly delegates actions and responsibilities and defines deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to team members. Attends preconstruction, weekly safety, project, and informational meetings and properly plan, execute and complete any assigned projects. Provides project leadership to the yard Supervisors. Schedules the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines Determines labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction areas Inspects and reviews projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations Sets performance goals and deadlines Plans construction processes Estimates costs and ensure the project is on budget Supervises staff and provide constructive feedback Ensures accurate counts prior to ordering materials and supplies for projects. Collaborates with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needs Orders the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance Prepares and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports Ensures compliance with Denholm YAM Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Systems
