Job Description

As a Landscape Product Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative and functional landscape products that enhance outdoor spaces ie exterior landscape designs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including landscape architects, engineers, and marketing professionals, to create aesthetically pleasing and sustainable solutions that align with client requirements and industry trends. Your designs will contribute to the overall beauty and functionality of outdoor environments. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Create landscape product concepts, sketches, and 3D renderings using computer-aided design (CAD) software like REVIT. Develop detailed product specifications, including materials, dimensions, manufacturing and assembling as well. Collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of designs. Conduct research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and materials relevant to landscape product design. Product Testing and Improvement: Conduct product testing to evaluate performance, durability, and safety. Analyze test results and make design modifications or improvements as necessary. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Project Coordination: Collaborate with landscape architects, contractors, and clients to understand project requirements and constraints. Provide design recommendations and solutions that align with project goals and budget. Assist in creating project proposals, including design concepts, material selection, and cost estimates. Industry Knowledge and Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in landscape product design. Attend industry conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge. Network with professionals in the field to build relationships and exchange ideas. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, industrial design, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in landscape product design, preferably in a professional setting. Proficiency in REVIT is must. Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, materials, and construction techniques. Excellent visual and spatial awareness, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and environmental considerations.
