Purpose The Sales Operations Lead – META will report to CMO/COO META Hub and will work on leading and developing the critical Capabilities and Operations excellence of the sales organizations across the META affiliates. This role is responsible for leading the team of sales operations and field trainers across META HUB. The Sales Ops and Capabilities lead will lead the strategic development and execution of the Sales Force Capabilities plan along with the Operations excellence across META HUB. The right candidate must bring both a strategic and operational mindset, with strong leadership skills to drive the strategic and tactical directions to improve the sales force capabilities across the HUB. The right candidate should have done a successful DSM experience within the Gulf and/or Saudi markets. Qualification & Experience Qualification A degree is required (mandatory) An MBA is a plus Experience: DSM/Sales Manager experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a MUST (mandatory). Demonstrated track record of delivering results. Strong strategic thinking / problem solving, and execution excellence. Sales Ops experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities Sales Capabilities: Work closely with the BU heads to develop and execute the sales force capabilities plan across META Hub. Own the decisions related to the sales force capabilities and operation excellence across META. Develop and maintain capability roadmap for sales organization. Develop in partnership with L&D the Hub sales training plan, including onboarding, training curriculum, sales leadership forums. Ensure sales team have strong, competency-based development plans with an HUB approach to evaluate progress. Own and lead on the sales force size and structure strategy and ensure effective territory deployment across META Hub. Lead with the Business Unit heads on the Sales Execution Governance. Sales Operations: Ensure consistency and oversight of the sales performance measures (including TAP, Veeva metrics, SPP, dual visits, coaching reports, etc) across META Hub. Lead the incentive committee and Sales Ops governance of the META Hub. Create and optimize incentive plans for each sales role in META geographies while promoting consistency with IBU guidance. Provide insightful and useful incentive analytics across all management levels that deliver continuous improvement in incentive plan effectiveness. Partner with Business Units Heads to develop the sampling strategy of META Hub and ensure the proper execution strictly following the internal policy, procedure, local laws and industry code of conducts. Coach, develop and mentor the Sales Ops managers as well as the Field Trainers of Gulf and Saudi to ensure their personal and professional development. Team Development and People Management Coach team members using the Lilly coaching framework by encouraging two-way dialogue and open feedback, listening actively, being flexible, and identifying knowledge, skill, and performance gaps.
