Job Description


- Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Assist the management team in ensuring that all food and product are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
- Assist the management team in achieving company objectives in sales, service, quality appearance and maintenance of facilities and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive and productive work environment.
- Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operation.
- Continually strive to develop department/staff in all areas of development.
- Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports in an organized and timely manner.
- Assist the management team in ensuring that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant preventive maintenance program.
- Assist/Coordinate with the management team in manpower scheduling ensuring that all positions are covered.
- Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel administration.
- Assist management team in ensuring total compliance with municipal regulations that pertain to health and safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant as well as of the employees.
- Provide feedback, advice and suggestions to the restaurant management team as needed.
