The Emirates National School provides a safe and supportive learning environment for students. We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible School Bus Driver to join our transportation team. As a school bus driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school, field trips, and other related activities.
Position Summary:
The school Bus Driver is responsible for safely operating a school bus, transporting students to and from school and other designated locations. The ideal candidate must prioritize safety, exhibit excellent communication skills, and have a genuine concern for the well-being of the students.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely operate a school bus in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
2. Pick up and drop off students at designated stops on schedule.
3. Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation.
4. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school bus, reporting any issues promptly.
5. Maintain order and discipline among students while on the bus.
6. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
7. Follow established routes and adapt to any necessary changes.
8. Attend required training sessions and meetings.
9. Enforce safety rules and regulations on the bus.
Qualifications:
1. Valid UAE Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with school bus permit.
2. Clean driving record and demonstrated commitment to safety.
3. Ability to work well with children and maintain a positive and patient demeanor.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to follow a prescribed route and adhere to a schedule.
6. Successful completion of required background checks and drug testing.
Preferred:
1. Experience as a school bus driver.
2. Familiarity with the local area and roads.
3. First Aid and CPR certification.
