Job Description
Perform decontamination processes on medical equipment and instruments following established protocols and safety guidelines
Operate and maintain sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilization containers
Assemble instrument trays and sets according to prescribed procedures, ensuring proper wrapping and labeling.
Monitor and record sterilization parameters including time, temperature, and pressure to ensure effectiveness
Collaborate with nursing staff and surgical teams to fulfill instrument requests and ensure timely availability.
Adhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a sterile environment.
Participate in departmental training programs and continuous quality improvement initiatives
