Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of accounting principles and practices and capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
- Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls
- Assist with external audits as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
