TECHNICAL MANAGER Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting all service operations by ensuring that the necessary technical information related to repair and maintenance of the company's vehicles and equipment is available, work with relevant departments to implement Enterprise asset management software for fully controlling service operation and improving efficiency. Job Duties: - Ensure that all the technical information needed for proceeding the repairs through service team is available - this will enable carrying out the repairs as per the manufacturer's instructions.
- Establish a positive relationship with the suppliers to receive their proper technical support.
- Set the standard hours/cost for repairing service jobs.
- Evaluate and enhance the technical efficiency of workshops’ facilities, equipment and the available special tools.
- Assess the performance of the available work force, improve their level of expertise, and assign their training needs.
- Participating with the relevant departments to implement the module of Enterprise asset management to develop the current procedures of service jobs registration and cost charging.
- Controlling assets operations by implementing vehicles GPS tracking system.
- Implement a fully functional process for scheduling the preventive maintenance.
- Contribute to determine the annual budget.
- Planning with the concerned departments for the implementation of “Equipment & vehicles hire to operate on rental bases” to be implemented in the near future.
- Evaluate and improve the procedures of recording job orders.
Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- 10 years minimum experience required
- With management and soft skills training in additional to technical training in the field of vehicles and heavy equipment
- Advanced written and spoken in English and Arabic
