Position:
WORKSHOP MANAGER REGIONAL SUPERVISOR Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and supervising the day to day activities of the Workshop, controlling the quality of repairs, implementation of HSEQ standards, performance appraisal of employees ,and ensure that work carried out in the workshop and field service is done in an efficient and cost-effective manner, to ensure client satisfaction in addition to achieve the agreed target. Job Duties: - Receiving repair requests from client and arranging inspection and repair as required.
- To ensure that all faults on equipment for repair are correctly inspected, diagnosed and subsequent repairs are carried out to a high standard of quality expected by our principals and customer alike.
- Supervises and follows up on actual progress of each individual repair job.
- Orders spare parts for specific jobs/special job or for stocks.
- Follows up work orders, registering the time taken to complete each task.
- Minimizes the cost and time of repairs.
- Responsible of applying HSEQ standard in workshop area.
- Ensures that the Workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times and is a safe working environment for people working.
- To ensure that quotations are submitted to clients in time and that they are correct.
- Assess staff training requirements to ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills to perform given tasks so as to gain maximum productivity.
- Participate in setting department budget and work within allocated expenses by controlling costs to minimize expenditure.
- Ensure the safety of his subordinates and ensure their compliance with established safety policies, procedures and practices.
- To follow company policies and procedures in all work related activities.
Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- 5 years minimum experience required
- Soft skills training in addition to technical training in the field of vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Advanced written and spoken English and Arabic
