The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology invites applications for the following position effective September 2024/ February 2025.
Job profile:
We are looking for candidates with academic and professional expertise in one or more of the areas of Pharmaceutical Technology including: Drug manufacturing and Pharmaceutical Processing /Research and Development at the industrial level/Pharmaceutical industry unit operations/GMP in Pharmaceutical Industry and Pharmaceutical process validation.
Qualifications:
- Candidates should hold a PhD or Professional Doctorate with extensive working experience (at least 3 years) in recognized universities with industrial work experience in the pharmaceutical Industry.
- Candidates should have the capability of initiating and acquiring funding for academic research.
- Candidates should have experience in leading research group and supervising Master and Ph.D. students.
- Track record of collaborative research and successful supervision.
- High capacity to develop pedagogical innovations and to manage a study program.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
- Proficiency in English (oral and written).
Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in undergraduate or graduate teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who have conducted eminent industry-related research in the discipline of pharmaceutical Technology and drug development, which is clearly reflected in publications in high-quality academic journals and peer-reviewed books.
