Requirements:
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
• Completion of a postgraduate residency program in pediatric dentistry accredited by the American Dental Association
• State licensure to practice pediatric dentistry
• Specialized training in child psychology and behavior management techniques
• Ability to provide preventive and therapeutic dental care for infants, children, and adolescents
• Skill in diagnosing and treating dental issues specific to children, such as tooth decay, developmental problems, and dental trauma
• Knowledge of growth and development patterns in children s oral health
• Compassionate and patient demeanor to help children feel comfortable during dental visits
• Collaboration with parents and guardians to promote good oral hygiene habits at home
