We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Landscape Projects Estimator with a minimum of 5 years experience.
Position Overview:
As a Landscape Projects Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, responsible for accurately estimating and assessing the costs and resources required for various landscape projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects, ensuring their profitability, and maintaining our reputation for exceptional quality and service.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed site visits to assess project requirements, including materials, labor, and equipment needs.
- Collaborate with project managers and designers to develop accurate and comprehensive project estimates.
- Analyze project specifications, plans, and drawings to identify potential challenges, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare and submit professional bids and proposals to clients, ensuring they align with project scope and budgetary constraints.
- Continuously monitor and update project estimates throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and cost control.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, pricing, and industry standards to provide informed recommendations and cost-saving measures.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and leverage value-added partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Landscape Projects Estimator, preferably in a similar capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of landscape construction materials, techniques, and industry best practices.
- Proficient in estimating software and tools, as well as industry-specific software (e.g., AutoCAD, ProEst, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project specifications and drawings.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs and resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and suppliers.
- Proven ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in landscape architecture, construction management, or a related field are advantageous.
