Job Title: Chief Financial Officer :
Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall objectives and long-term growth plans. Strong leadership skills with a focus on protecting the company's financial health
· Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
Capital Management:
Manage capital allocation and investment decisions to optimize returns and support the company's growth initiatives.
Evaluate and prioritize capital expenditure projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and financial objectives.
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support ongoing operations and meet financial obligations.
Risk Management:
Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard assets, minimize exposure, and preserve financial stability.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control policies to mitigate financial and operational risks.
Treasury Management:
Manage cash flow and liquidity to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs and debt obligations.
Develop and implement treasury management policies and procedures to optimize cash resources and minimize borrowing costs.
Monitor banking relationships, credit facilities, and investment portfolios to maximize returns and minimize risk.
Qualifications:
· CPA and Master’s degree is required
· Minimum 15 years in UAE, Previous role as an CFO /Auditor for a large Construction firm in UAE is must and highly desirable, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of financial systems and controls
· Strong work ethic
· Extensive experience in capital and investment markets
· Strong communication skills, being able to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely is key
· Must have a solid understanding of the company perspective at a broad level
