Job Title: React.js Developer
Location: Dubai, UAE
Duration: 3-Month Contract (Extendable)
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced React.js Developer to join our dynamic team on a contractual basis for 3 months. As a React.js Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications using React.js, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. You will work closely with our team of developers and designers to create seamless and visually appealing user interfaces.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using React.js.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards and practices are followed.
- Debug and fix bugs in new and existing code.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a React.js Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with front-end development libraries and frameworks like Redux, React Router, etc.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
