Job Title: Application Support Engineer – Production Support & Cloud Operations

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Application Support Engineer with expertise in Production Support, Cloud Operations, Incident Management, and Application Monitoring. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities, a customer-first mindset, and hands-on experience with cloud technologies and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 support for production systems, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and manage critical applications to detect and resolve issues proactively.
  • Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex system issues within SLA timelines.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement long-term solutions for system stability.
  • Act as an escalation point for high-severity incidents, coordinating with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base documents and runbooks for team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with global teams across NA, EMEA, and APAC regions for seamless production support.
  • Work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git), containerization tools (Docker), and AWS cloud services to optimize application performance.
  • Manage network components such as routers, route tables, and switches to ensure connectivity and security.
  • Participate in event management and project implementation from requirement gathering to deployment.
  • Drive a culture of learning and growth, providing training to team members for continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Certifications: ITIL V4 Foundation & AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or equivalent cloud certification).
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Production Support & Application Monitoring
  • Incident & Problem Management
  • Cloud Operations (AWS preferred)
  • CI/CD (Jenkins, Git, Docker)
  • IT Networking (Routers, Switches, Route Tables)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in banking or financial services domain is a plus.
