Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team at Technopower Generaotors, a leading provider of diesel generator solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components for diesel generator enclosures, frames, and structural parts, ensuring high-quality and durable welds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication of metal components for diesel generators, including enclosures, frames, and mounting structures.
- Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and arc welders to join metals according to specifications.
- Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing of welded materials as needed.
- Maintain welding tools, equipment, and work area in a safe and organized manner.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and industry welding standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and assembly teams to meet production requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting welding issues and suggest improvements for efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a diesel generator or heavy machinery industry.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings but not required.
- Familiarity with welding safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Physical ability to handle welding tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials.
- Certification in welding (AWS, ASME, or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
