Job Title: Lab Manager – Ready Mix Concrete

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lab Manager with proven experience in Ready Mix Concrete, currently based in the UAE, to manage laboratory operations and ensure compliance with quality, technical, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE construction codes and hands-on experience in RMC quality control and mix design.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the RMC laboratory
Develop, approve, and optimize concrete mix designs.
Ensure compliance with UAE standards and project specifications (ASTM / BS / EN / DM / ADM, as applicable)
Supervise testing of raw materials, fresh concrete, and hardened concrete.
Coordinate with production and site teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain laboratory equipment calibration and records.
Handle client approvals, audits, and third-party inspections.
Lead and train laboratory and QA/QC staff.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Lab Manager or QA/QC Manager in Ready Mix Concrete.
Must be currently inside the UAE.
Strong knowledge of UAE authority requirements and approvals.
Experience with concrete mix optimization and cost control.
Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil / Materials Engineering.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in RMC quality control, including UAE experience.
