About the Role
Freelance VDI - Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Engineer with Expertise in #VDI and virtual environments including:
Responsibilities
- VMware Horizon administration (Instant Clones, Dedicated and Floating Pools, Connection Servers)
- Unified Access Gateway (UAG) configuration and troubleshooting
- vSphere and vCenter administration
- App Volumes (Writable Volumes and AppStacks lifecycle management)
- Application delivery and VDI application troubleshooting
- Windows 10 and Windows 11 VDI images management and optimization
- Profile management and login performance troubleshooting
- VDI performance monitoring and capacity awareness
- Integration with Active Directory, certificates, and network components
- Handling daily operations, incidents, and production support in enterprise environments
Qualifications
Experience Level: 5 to 7 years
