Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed General Practitioner (Company Doctor) to provide basic medical care and occupational health support for our construction workforce. The doctor will be responsible for on-site medical consultations, first aid treatment, health monitoring, and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide primary medical care and first aid treatment to company employees at site/office.
  • Assess and manage minor injuries, illnesses, and occupational health issues.
  • Monitor and support workers’ fitness for duty, especially for site-based staff.
  • Maintain medical records, incident reports, and daily consultation logs.
  • Provide medical support during workplace accidents until referral to hospital if required.
  • Advise management on health, hygiene, and preventive measures at construction sites.
  • Conduct basic health checks (BP, sugar, temperature, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar health regulations, QCHP guidelines, and company HSE policies.
  • Coordinate with HSE team regarding medical incidents and emergency response plans.
  • Refer serious cases to approved hospitals or clinics as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid QCHP License as General Practitioner (mandatory).
  • Previous experience as a Company Doctor / Site Doctor / Occupational Health Doctor preferred.
  • Experience working with construction or industrial workforce is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.

Working Conditions

  • On-site / company premises (construction environment)
  • Limited to employee medical support only (not public patients)
  • Fixed morning working hours

Contract & Benefits

  • Part-time contractual engagement
  • Duration: 6 months to 1 year (extendable by mutual agreement)
