We are hiring: Site Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical systems and proven experience in overseeing large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspections of MEP works to ensure alignment with design specifications, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and recommend corrective measures to maintain schedule compliance.
- Review materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to quality and performance standards.
- Maintain comprehensive inspection records, including daily site reports, safety documentation, and quality control checklists.
- Collaborate with construction teams for the efficient execution of Electrical installations .
- Enforce site safety standards, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols related to MEP works.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
- Support testing and commissioning activities, ensuring MEP systems are operational and meet required performance standards prior to handover.
- Exhibit proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic site conditions.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and regional codes, particularly those relevant in the Middle East/GCC.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 4–5 years of experience in MEP inspection on large-scale projects such as industrial facilities, logistics hubs, residential villas, and commercial & Residential buildings.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction standards, and regulatory codes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and inspection reporting tools.
- Strong command of English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and other MEP design and coordination software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and handle multiple projects at the same time.
