Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Civil Draftsman to prepare detailed drawings and layouts for civil engineering projects. The role involves working closely with engineers and architects to translate concepts, calculations, and specifications into accurate technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings for civil works such as roads, buildings, drainage, utilities, and site layouts
- Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and working drawings
- Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, and project managers to understand design requirements
- Revise drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and design changes
- Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, standards, and regulations
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records
- Assist in quantity take-offs and basic BOQs (if required)
- Support site teams with drawings and clarifications during construction
- Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering / Draftsmanship
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit, Civil 3D, or SketchUp is a plus
Skills & Qualifications
- Good understanding of civil construction methods and materials
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic knowledge of survey drawings and levels
- Good communication and coordination skills
- With at least 5 years of experience in construction company
